Melanie Lynskey in "Seeking A Friend For the End of the World."
San Francisco — If you were told the end of the world was just days away, what would you do? Personally, I think I would have to follow the sentiment of Melanie Lynskey's character in "Seeking A Friend For the End of the World," in which she wears all the quirky items she never quite found the right occasion to wear.
Do you have a tiara or maybe a peacock feathered cape you've been dying to don? Well this is the chance for you to gather all your never-before-worn goodies and sport them to the party. In theme of the romantic comedy, "starring Steve Carell and Keira Knightley, there will be an End of the World Party Thursday, June 21st, 5-7 p.m. at The Barber Lounge, and you are invited to attend and wear everything you may not have had a chance to yet. Another incentive for attending the event and "dressing up" is that you will be entered for a chance to win VIP seats for a screening of the film, immediately following the party. RSVP at ContestsSF@gmail.com with your name and number of guests attending. Read more details on the flyer below.
P.S. If you haven't yet, watch my interview with the film's director Lorene Scafaria.
