GLOBAL — Hollywood A-lister Drew Barrymore has launched Flower, a new brand of cosmetics sold exclusively at Wal-Mart. I've never been a Wal-Mart girl and I've always been selective about what cosmetic and skincare products I use. My beauty code has been to find what I love and never leave it, but every now and then my beauty arsenal needs to be restocked. It's a great time to try something new, so I'm tempted to pay the discount store a visit and give Barrymore's brand a try.
Barrymore has had a blooming career as child actress turned director and producer. She even has her own production company called Flower Films. She's obviously no stranger to success, but her latest venture shouldn't come as a surprise. She has been the face of beauty brands including Lancôme and CoverGirl, where she also served as co-director for the brand.
Now she's launched her own botanical-based line, which is said to give glowy skin and is haled as a luxury beauty brand for the masses. With 181 pieces, from foundation and eyeshadow to mascara and nail polish, everything in the line is under $15. [WWD]
