Get Anne Hathaway’s ‘Vanity Fair’ Retro ‘do

Global — The Oscars are right around the corner, where our favorite flicks and celebs will be honored for best films, actors, and actresses. How befitting that the March issue of Vanity Fair has a fold out cover flanked with Hollywood elite from veteran Robert Duvall to up and comer Jennifer Lawrence. The head-to-toe hot looks have me in an absolute frenzy! But let’s talk hair; the coifs are chic and retro!

The cover star, Anne Hathaway dazzles and her look reminiscent of Old Hollywood screen siren, Rita Hayworth. The looks were cretaed by iconic hairstylist Oribe. Here’s what Oribe had to say about Hathaway’s ‘do:

“Anne’s look was created with a 30s pincurl set. I used a 1-inch-barrel curling iron to curl her hair, section by section,  spraying it with Oribe Soft Lacquer Heat Styling Spray along the way. After I made each curl, I rolled it up and pinned it to the head. This helps lock the curl into a soft, lasting wave. After Anne’s makeup was done, I took down the curls and brushed through with a Mason Pearson Boar Bristle Brush, shaping the wave to frame her face. I sprayed Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray through the sides and ends of her hair to add volume and softness to the ends to complete the look.”
