Daft Punk Launches Vintage Ads Promoting ‘Get Lucky’ Line

April 20145192Views

Daft Punk, the electronic duo that blew us all away with their performance at the Grammy’s, featuring Pharrell Williams and Stevie Wonder, now has a new line of clothing and accessories.

The two have taken it old school, using 70’s-inspired ads to promote their line including one with a “Daft Punk” belt buckle and the words “Buckle Up” at the bottom – a play on words from an old seatbelt ad campaign. The way Daft Punk has advertised their items has given everything such a classic and authentic feel. But even with their vintage-inspired advertisements, the biggest inspiration for this line was their contemporary single, Get Lucky. Some of the merchandise up for grabs include T-shirts, $40; a belt buckle, $25; and a poster, $20. Not bad for the anonymous duo!
