Ginie C. Y. Huang Spring 2013 Collection was inspired by the work of Ninagawa Mika, one of Japan’s most popular photographers, and the feeling that Mika’s images invoke – a feeling of being completely immersed in the colors.

New York — Mercedes Benz Fashion Week is right around the corner and crave-worthy designers will be showcaing their latest collections for Spring 2013, from well-known to emerging. For nearly a decade, M.F.A. graduate students from the Academy of Art University have debuted collections during New York Fashion Week. For Spring 2013, nine aspiring designers will show their collections at Lincoln Center; eight women’s wear collections, two of which are collaborations between Fashion and Textile Design students, and one collaborative collection sponsored by UBIFRANCE, the French Trade Commission. The M.F.A. students presenting collections include Ginie C.Y. Huang, Jisun Lee, Jarida Karnjanasirirat, Stephina Touch, Yanfei Fan, Jie Jessie Liu, Tanja Milutinovic, and Iglika Matthews.
