Mission: Trying to Decode Emma Stone’s W Cover

GLOBAL — At first I thought it was just me who was scratching her head over the W magazine cover featuring Emma Stone scantily clad in a brassiere with tossled hair in what looks like a seedy hotel room. After reading a post on Huffington Post sharing my sentiment, I didn't feel as bad. After all, she is one of my Hollywood faves and after my interview with Emma in 2011, she's been on my radar as a rising star to watch.

I loved her fashion spread in "Vogue" July 2012 issue. Adored her "Teen Vogue" cover where she sported an orange Prada coat. But what's the deal with her latest cover. It's the edgiest I've ever seen the A-lister, who's known for her girl-next-door charm. What message is she trying to send? Is this a new era for the quirky actress or just a passing phase? Maybe it's a nod to her inner rebel?

I actually like this cover. She look edgy but cool. It's kind of artsy.
