Tadashi Shoji Fall 2012
New York — Mercedes Benz Fashion Week kicked off yesterday with a cornucopia of crave-worthy collections featuring sophisticated silhouettes in lace and silk; bold patterns in stripe and plaid; and a rich color palette in jewel tones and neutrals. Four designers caught my eye (and became instant faves) including Tadashi Shoji, who featured 20s inspired dresses with drop waists and frilly accents; and Jenni Kayne, who showcased mod ensembles with a feminine twist on menswear.
