iPhone 4S Leads In the Next Generation of Smartphones

Global — Just one day after the "big" Apple event that we all eagerly anticipated, Steve Jobs – the co-founder and force behind Apple Inc. for more than three decades – has passed. But the venerable technology genius who helmed the American computer, software, and electronics giant, did not leave without once again setting the mark for excellence in technological advancement.

It may not be the iPhone 5, but it just may be better. Why better, you ask? I say better, because we will still get the sleek shape of the iPhone 4 with a glass back. I truly love the styling of this smartphone. The iPhone 5 was rumored to have a metal back, tapered body shape and possible smaller casing. Well for the needs of a sartorial sleuth like myself, that might not have measured up, but I have high expectations for the iPhone 4S.

Just a quick scan of the specs speaks volumes. There will be an 8 megapixel camera, a built in shake stabilizer for videos, and even a voice activated personal assistant called Siri that can help you do everything from reminding you of a friend's birthday to hearing a computerized voice read the message aloud when you are unable to read them yourself. In addition, you can verbally respond to the text message.

To be honest, it may be labeled iPhone 4S, but in my opinion, we are about to experience the next generation of the iPhone, and I can't wait!

The phone can be pre-ordered Friday, October 7th and goes on sale October 14th. Check out the iPhone 4S video HERE!
