Aphrodite surely smiled from the heavens on the BCBG Max Azria Spring 2009 collection.
The allure of the Greek goddess obviously served as a muse for BCBG when creating this collection of draped frocks.
The myriad variations from strapless to one-shoulder to plunged V-neck, the straight flowing silhouettes made with soft jersey knits and silk satins, and a rich color palette ranging from an ivory white to tangerine orange to chocolate brown, makes these grecian-inspired dresses a must-do for spring. I can already see a plethora of draped tunics and tops popping up to mimic this look. I wonder if they consulted Rami (the draping king from Project Runway season 4)?
