To a backdrop of Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue,” gaunt models paraded down a mirror lined runway for the Marc Jacobs Spring 2009 show.
There was a melody of layered looks that echoed the transient style of Eliza Doolittle, the brash Cockney woman whose look was transformed in the film, My Fair Lady, set in turn-of-the-century England.
