I guess you've been wondering why The Chic Spy has been doing a vanishing act recently. Well, I have a good excuse, really I do! And, I think I may be able to make amends … at least a little. (Click images for larger view). flirty-femme1 Last month I had an amazing photoshoot at Ocean Beach in San Francisco. The hot spot, which was actually cold during our 5:30 a.m. call, was called Sutro Baths. The location was AH-MAZING. Just check out these images below courtesy of stylist extraordinaire, Claudia Paolinelli who was the onset makeup and hair stylist:shoot3 shoot41 shoot2 J'adore everything about this location, but even lovelier was the photoshoot … check out these cool behind-the-scene pics: shoot5 Here's a shot of the photographer giving directions to the models. Left to right, Womo Iyegha  (model), Fulya Guner (model), Duran Rose (photographer assistant), and Cody Rundall (photographer). … and another … shoot6 Left to right, Womo Iyegha, Fulya Guney, and Cody Rundall. … and yet another … shoot7 Left to right, Cody Rundall, Duran Rose, Fulya Guner, Womo Iyegha, and Rose Marnell (production assistant). I recently caught up with a few members of the crew for a Q&A. Here's what they had to say: Cody Rundall (photographer) The Chic Spy: How did you first become interested in photography? Cody Rundall: I discovered I had an interest in photography at an early age when my parents would let me have free reign with the camera on family vacations. TCS: What do you find to be the most challenging aspect of being a photographer? CR: The thing I find most challenging as a photographer is producing images that correctly display things as the human eye sees them. TCS: What subjects do you find the most interesting to shoot? CR: All facets of life and landscape are interesting to me. TCS: Have you been inspired by the works of other photographers, and if so who are they and why? CR: My inspiration changes quite rapidly but any image that I see makes me think about my own work. Lately I have been following the experimental work of Binh Danh. TCS: What did you enjoy most about the Ocean Beach photoshoots? CR: I always love going on location rather than being in a studio. We had a great group of people to work with too. TCS: If you could have a photoshoot anywhere in the world, where would it be? CR: If I could go anywhere in the world I would want to go somewhere no one has ever been and bring back something new to show the world. Fulya Guney (model) fulya The Chic Spy: What is your career title? Fulya Guner: Graphic Designer TCS: What did you like most and least about being a model for a day? FG: What I liked the most was wearing those cute outfits and having fun with a professional team. My least thing is, working under such hard conditions like cold weather. TCS: Give one word to describe your style. FG: Individual, sometimes vintage. TCS: What is your favorite pass time? FG: Partying! TCS: An item of clothing you can't live without. FG: My necklaces. Womo Iyegha (model) womo The Chic Spy: What is your career title? Womo Iyegha: Interactive Designer/Developer TCS: What did you like most about being a model for a day? WI: The chocolate lip gloss and hanging out with everyone. TCS: How would you describe your style? WI: Laid back and contemplative. TCS: What is your favorite pass time? WI: Basketball. TCS: An item of clothing you can't live without. WI: Jeans. (Photography by Cody Rundall. Behind-the-scenes photos courtesy of Claudia Paolinelli)
