Who doesn’t absolutely adore the eponymous shoe god for his instantly recognizable red-soled steps? I could just keel over — which I also do when walking in heels — at the beauty of his designs; Christian Louboutin is to shoes what Andy Warhol is to Pop Art (I knew the SAT prep would pay off).
To claim ownership to just one pair of Louboutin’s celebrity-craving, socialite-stepping kicks, that hover in the $500+ range, is a treat no doubt, but I have to admit I love my flats. Hey, fashion icons Audrey Hepburn and Coco Chanel were known to rock a chic pair of flats.
I recently read an article from Stella Magazine (an insert in UK’s Sunday Telegraph) where Louboutin proclaimed, “‘I’m not a fascist. I would never oblige people to wear high heels if they don’t like it.” He also mentioned that his sisters were a source of inspiartion for his designs and they want him to make more flats — I hope he listens.

I would love to see more Louboutin flats. Its another important area of the market to have. I would love to buy Louboutin flats along with my other Louboutin styles.
