Global — Each year Pantone names the “it” color of the year. In 2010 it was Turquoise, this year it is Honeysuckle, a reddish pink color that Pantone describes as “encouraging and uplifting.” Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute says, “In times of stress, we need something to lift our spirits. Honeysuckle is a captivating, stimulating color that gets the adrenaline going — perfect to ward off the blues.”
It goes without saying that I have an affinity to the teals and turquoises, but I anticipate seeing spring fashions in this happy, vibrant hue!
