Global — Whether you are a fan of Tron: Legacy, the remake of a 1982 hit, or not, you might find an affinity to the disco-era inspired trends from the futuristic flick. When I went to watch the film a couple of weeks ago, the audience was packed with fans fashioned and accessorized in items inspired by the neon glow seen in the costumes — loved the orange neon, BTW — but I digress.
Fashion designers are capitalizing on this fashion phenom with looks of their own, like the Edmundo Castillo Tron-Inspired Light Sandals. The metallic wedges are made from the same electroluminescent materials as the costumes from the film. They will debut in february 2011 at Saks fifth Avenue for $1,650.
