GLOBAL — As athletes around the world compete for gold at The Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, I’m vying for a little precious metal of my own. The one accessory I have on my radar for spring is a gold-tone watch. As a collector of watches, I have an array of styles in my accessory arsenal from a black patent leather Juicy Couture to a Swiss crystal and ceramic Peugeot. For me, a good time piece is the ultimate arm candy. I usually prefer silver, but recently I spotted the Michael Kors golden stainless steel “Camille” glitz watch, $550, with pavé crystals. It’s over the top, but if I’m thinking about going for the gold, why not go all the way!
