Haute: Gwyneth Paltrow was all a glow in a blush pink Zac Posen gown with diamond-shaped detail on the bodice and a cascading fishtail hem.
Not So Haute: Reese Witherspoon seems to always deliver on the red carpet, but she fell short in this eggplant-colored strapless gown with layers of ruffles. It’s a bit too heavy for her petite frame.
Haute: Penelope Cruz is absolutely stunning in an intricately detailed, waist-cynching gown by Versace in blush pink.
Not So Haute: Jennifer Lopez in a Marc Jacobs Gown was a bit matronly. This gown on her was reminiscent of Liz Taylor during her stint as a politician’s wife; definitely not the look of ‘Jenny from the block’.
Haute: Cate Blanchett looks incredible in a shimmery Armani Privé gown with beaded detail on the shoulder and hem.
Not So Haute: Jennifer Hudson, who won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar®, was a far cry from her sophisticated look at the Golden Globes. This Oscar De La Renta chocolate-colored spaghetti-strap gown was a bit too snug for her curvy figure and the metallic cropped jacket was over the top—just too futuristic!
Haute: Kate Winslett shined on the red carpet in her off-white Valentino gown. The Grecian style was quite flattering to her curvy figure. It was simple yet elegant.
Not So Haute: Carmen Diaz has tons of energy, unfortunately it’s not enough to pull off this number that looks like a bridesmaid gown gone bad (who knew that was even possible).
Haute: Portia De Rossi was exquisite in a navy halter gown with black fringe—it was flapper chic with a modern twist.
Not So Haute: Jessica Biel in her hot pink Oscar De La Renta gown was not so hot. The flowing halter style gown was pretty but the black belt undid what could have possibly made her ‘pretty in pink’.
