Shopping at polo.com just got a little bit easier. Polo Ralph Lauren has launched m-commerce (mobile commerce) so that shoppers can conveniently shop from their mobile phones. According to wwd.com, the technology used is called Quick Response and is relatively new in the U.S., but a hit in Europe and Asia for luxury retailers such as Ralph Lauren.
I’m not sure whether I am going to sit on the sidelines of this new technology or delve right in. To be honest, I’m just settling into e-commerce (shopping online), but it’s nice to know that as quick as I can say ‘Marco Polo’, I will be able to order a pair of the Zaida Signature buckle flats (below) just by powering up my cell — sheer genius. You can learn more about Polo’s new service at ralphlauren.com.
