Global – High-end fashion designers have unabashedly been scurrying to get their digs in the stores of masstige retailer H&M, from shoe guru Jimmy Choo to lingerie maven Sonia Rykiel. The latest designer to express interest is North African fashion designer Azzedine Alaïa. The fashion-forward designer is known for dressing the world’s most elite from supermodel Naomi Campbell to First Lady Michelle Obama.

In an interview in the May issue of Flaunt magazine, Alaïa spoke candidly with the magazine’s fashion director Long Nguyen about his willingness to collaborate with the fast fashion retailer. Only time will tell if this is a match made in fashion heaven.
