Mission: Louboutin Wins Over YSL for Sole Control

Mission: Louboutin Wins Over YSL for Sole Control

September 20121819Views

New York — My latest mission takes me to the Big Apple where Mercedes Benz Fashion Week kicks off this week with lithe models strutting the runway in an endless parade of fashions too see who will showcase the hottest looks for Spring 2013. But the real showdown came with the settling of Christian Louboutin vs. Yves Saint Laurent in a battle over the red sole. In an August 2011 ruling, YSL was the victor with the judge ruling that no designer had the right to covet the color red. Obviously, he's no connoisseur of fashion, but I digress. In the end Louboutin won sole control of embellishing the bottom of his shoes with the color red. J'adore! [BRITISH VOGUE]
