GLOBAL — A beauty code essential for this sartorial sleuth is a signature scent. Faves of mine have included Burberry Brit Sheer, Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom & Honey, and Benefit Ring My Bell. But my fragrance arsenal needs a refreshener for spring, so in honor of National Fragrance Day (yes, there is such a thing), I've discovered three scents to put on my radar.
First on my must-try fragrance list is Bond No. 9 Madison Square Park (above), inspired by the Gilded Age of New York. Notes of grape hyacinth, huckleberry, prairie dropseed grass, red leaf rose, red hunter tulips, and teakwood make up this scent and the adorable bottle has a detachable flower that can be worn as a bracelet or brooch. Trés chic!
The allure of a sophisticated scent can be mesmerizing. Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Eau de Parfum is inspired by the cool breeze, sparkling water, and lush foliage of the Italian Riviera. Citrus and floral blends create a clean and crisp scent. Now I want to make a great escape to Italy!
Nothing quite as lovely as a feminine floral fragrance for spring. With top, middle, and bottom notes including spring lilac, fresh jasmine, and marshmallow, Fresh Pink Jasmine Eau de Parfum is a sweet scent perfect for the season. J'adore!
