Last night I had an exciting opportunity to interview Paris Hilton while she was in my town at 944 Village (there’s Super Bowl madness in the Valley so celebs are popping up everywhere).
Well, since the interview was done for The Arizona Republic, I can’t post it here, but you can read the complete interview at azcentral.com. Here is an excerpt from the Hilton interview when the interviewer (that’s me), became the interviewee! This is how it happened.
After the interview concluded, I muttered my gracious thank you’s to the soft-spoken starlet when all of a sudden she leans towards me and points to the lapel of my peter-pan collar trapeze jacket and says …
Paris: That is a cute little cameo you are wearing.
For her courteous gesture I replied …
Mignon: Thank You.
But that wasn’t the end of it, she then lightly touched my cameo and asked …
Paris: Where did you get it?
I smiled and quickly said …
Mignon: Target.
I wasn’t even sure if she would know the store when she exclaimed …
Paris: Really!
Then I simply said …
Mignon: They have some fun finds.
She smiled and said …
Paris: Thanks hon.
