GLOBAL — We are so use to filling our closets with black – because we think it’s slimming – that we sometimes forget the glorious spectrum of color that can liven a wardrobe and spark a look. This season it’s all about pretty pastels. Thanks to designer collections featuring soft, pale hues including lavender, peach, and buttercup yellow – such as Burberry, who featured pastels in their spring 2014 collection. I can’t help but love the Burberry lace pencil skirt, $1,095. It would look trés chic with an indigo or faded denim jacket and a classic white boyfriend tee.
