BROOKLYN — Songstress Taylor Swift hit the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet in a navy blue Hervé Léger by Max Azria banded and sequinned gown. Although some online naysayers have scoffed at her look, I think it's lovely with her wavy locks and ruby red lips. She looks like she stepped out the The Great Gatsby party scene.
On the other hand, her BFF Selena Gomez looks like she's trying a bit too hard in her grown up girl gown with what looks like hooks undone just enough for a lingerie peak-a-boo. But, she wasn't the worst look of the evening, I think Miley Cyrus holds that title with her onstage getup including a fury onesie bearing a cartoon character and her hair twist into two knots atop her head – oh so kitschy.
