San Francisco — Levi’s recently had a preview party in New York at the Levi’s Photo Workshop to announce the launch of their Spring 2011 WaterLess Collection. The eco-chic line will consist of denim apparel made with a finishing process that uses significantly less H20 than the traditional method.
“We challenged ourselves to operate at the intersection of style and sustainability,” says Erik Joule, Senior Vice President of Merchandising and Design. “These WaterLess jeans have great styles and finishes, but are made with a lot less water.”
The first collection of WaterLess jeans will be available in January and will include more than a dozen Levi’s denim styles including 501, 511, and 514 jeans, as well as the Levi’s Trucker jacket.
Eco-friendly denim, who knew — I plan on staying on the pulse of this fashion innovation!
Chicly Yours,
