Karl Lagerfeld and Fendi presented a fashion extravaganza to rival all runway shows for spring 2008. While most designers and couture houses were vying to get into the Bryant Park tents (Fendi was there too), Fendi was setting the stage to unveil their luxurious collection (preparation began more than a year ago) from behind the Great Wall in China.
Socialites and celebutantes were on hand to witness this extraordinary designer display of hauteness including Kate Bosworth and Thandie Newton.
If there was an Oscar for fashion shows, Fendi gets the award for best catwalk. Who knew the Great Wall in China could be so glamorous — Fendi did!
