Puss In Boots, starring Antonio Banderas (The Legend of Zorro) and Salma Hayek (Once Upon a Time in Mexico), hits the big screen today. Banderas reprises the role of the debonair cat from "Shrek." As a spinoff of Shrek, there are high expectations for this newest animated feature. In my opinion, this prequel to the life of Puss in Boots before he encounters Shrek, definitely delivers.
Banderas is joined by actress Salma Hayek who plays Kitty Softpaws, a sassy cat with a few treats up her paws for Puss in Boots. The two catty characters are cohorts with Humpty Dumpty played by Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover II). Dumpty is the childhood friend of Puss in Boots, who has a mischievous demeanor that is destined to cause trouble for them all. The cast is rounded out with Billy Bob Thornton (Duplicity) and Amy Sedaris (Shrek the Third) as their nemeses.
