The Canon PowerShot SD1400 IS looks aesthetically pleasing, after all, it’s orange — The Chic Spy’s color of choice. But, this little beauty is a shutterbugs dream come true in more than one way.

It comes with a host of fabulous features including 14.1 mega pixels! That’s more than many of Canon’s SLRs. Besides nifty detectors such as blink and face detection, it also has HD video with a 16:9 aspect ratio (in laymen terms that means your video will look pretty darn good).

A great selling point for me was the 2.7 LCD screen, which means I can have a good preview of my subject and gage how good the picture will look.

Other cool features include a 4X optical zoom, 28 mm wide-angle lens, and optical image stabilizer.
