During fashion week, sleek models will sashay, twirl and glide their way down runways, showing off a bevy of avant garde creations from prominent designers as well as new-comers to the high-fashion scene.
With two of the largest fashion weeks on the horizon for Spring 2008 (New York starting next week and Los Angeles in October), I decided to launch Designer Diaries, my version of reality tv gone reality blogging. A designer-on-the-rise will let us peer into her fashionable life as she takes a collection from creative conception to runway ready.
In the next coming week I will introduce ToriNichel, a New York designer who will contribute to Styleology 101 by penning her designer diary, sharing tips on wearing fall trends and giving us the scoop on New York Fashion Week, including a sneak peek at what’s coming for spring ’08.
