This sartorial event takes place in fashion capitals around the globe including New York, Milan, London, and Paris; many of which are sponsored by Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. However, there are fashion weeks worldwide that focus on their local and emerging designers. During major fashion weeks, famous faces in fashion such as Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour are seen sitting front-row-center during runway shows from Marc Jacobs in New York to Christian Dior in Paris. Here are a few fashion weeks around the globe to put on your radar.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia is held in Sydney, featuring innovative designs from Australia’s leading designers. The event is held for Spring/Summer during the second week in April.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin is a platform for emerging and established fashion designers in Germany. The event is held for Spring/Summer the first week in July.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Istanbul serves to promote awarness of local talent and increase Turkish design on a global scale. The event is held for Autumn/Winter during mid-March.
