The-Limited-Scandal-Collection-SketchesGet the Look of Olivia Pope With A New Collection Coming in September

GLOBAL — When Scandal returns to the small screen in fall, not only will we be looking forward to watching the drama unfold, we will also be excited to see the latest designer confections sported by the lady gladiators, specifically Olivia Pope, played by Kerry washington. The looks from the show are so crave-worthy, I even wrote about them on queenlatifah.com. But, when the show returns this time, we won’t merely revel in Olivia’s onscreen looks, we’ll be able to buy them as well when The Limited Scandal Collection launches.

“People who love the look of the show can now step into this world in a way that is affordable and accessible because not everybody can afford to have the clothes they see on the show.” Washington told WWD in an interview.

The concept of creating a capsule collection themed after a TV show is not a new one and was done successfully with Banana Republic’s collection for Mad Men. I predict The Limited Scandal Collection will have similar success, after all, who isn’t in love with the scandalous show and its protagonist, who for all the drama she attracts, looks flawless in everything she wears?

Olivia’s onscreen wardrobe will be sprinkled with looks from The Limited Scandal Collection, so it will be a great opportunity to see how to style pieces from the 42-piece collection, which will range in price between $49-$248.
