Keira Knightley in Anna Karenina

Global — Banana Republic has sought inspiration from Hollywood in the past, most notably from the "Mad Men" TV series when they worked with the shows costumer Janie Bryant. Now they are taking a voyage to 19th Century Russia with inspiration from the film Anna Karenina based on a novel of the same name from Leo Tolstoy about Russian aristocracy. The film opens Novermer 9th, starring Keira Knightley (Pirates of the Caribbean) and Jude Law (Sherlock Holmes). The collection is slated to launch in October. [WWD]
