Berlin — Recently, Halle Berry was filming for the movie adaption of the novel "Cloud Atlas." But that was not the Oscar-winning actress's ony on-camera gig while in Germany; she also filmed a TV commercial in Berlin for her latest venture, 5th Avenue by Halle Berry shoe collection for Deichmann Shoes, Europe's largest shoe retailer, which is headquarterd in Essen, Germany and has stores throughout Europe.

Berry's shoe line is slated to launch March 5th featuring 40 pieces including peep-toe wedges, summery slingbacks, and high-heel strappy sandals. The collection will be moderatley priced ranging from £29.99 to £44.99. Berry explains on the Deichmann blog that the shoes can be worn by every woman:

"They are stylish, yet reasonably priced, and that is what my collection is all about.”

For Berry, shoes are more than just another accessory. She describes the opportunity to create her own shoe collection as inspirational and a dream come true:

"Shoes are an expression of one’s personality. When the hairstyle and the shoes are right, this usually then applies also to the rest of a person’s overall appeal."

Berry isn't the only famous face of Dechmann Shoes. Since 2009, supermodel Cindy Crawford has had her own line with the shoe purveyor called Cindy Crawford Collection by 5th Avenue.

There is no word as to when or if Berry's collection will make an appearance in the U.S. But one could hope!
