Paris — It was a galant return to the Ritz Paris for Versace last night, when the Italian fashion house opened Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week 2012. It was the first time the line has shown at the luxury hotel since Gianni Versace presented his last collection there in 1997. Atelier Versace, Donatella's bespoke line, was true to the brands aesthetic of sultry and sexy, with sheer flowing gowns and vampy accents like strips of patent leather and lacy cutouts in a palette of pretty pastels. To finish the enchanting boudoir look, the hair was chicly coiffed with loose curls while the makeup was neutral with standout eyes.
