I recently went to see the film Blood Diamond—just in time before it leaves theaters—and after watching the thought-provoking film, I vowed that I shall never don another diamond and was in search of glitzy baubles to take their place. I know everyone won’t share my sentiment and that’s cool too, but there comes a time when one finds a cause and decides to make a stand—this is mine.
