I can’t help but be inspired by summer ad campaigns to build my seasonal wardrobe. For Spring/Summer 2015, I’m loving the global style reminiscent of cities far away and the vintage-inspired looks that take you back to the 70s with a modern influence that make the looks relevant now. That’s why I’ve looked to some of my favorite ads for inspiration when I’m putting together my summer fashion wardrobe. Here are a few ad campaigns with looks on my radar.
The mini skirts and mules have caught my attention with the Coach collection. I’m also a fan of the Eisenhower-influenced and athletic-inspired jackets and mid-size crossbody bags. It’s a laid-back look ready for cafe hopping and patio partays!
A maxi dress is the perfect summer garment. This Emilio Pucci colorful version is a statement-making piece, but the maxi so versatile it can be dressed up with heels and worn to the ballet or dressed down and sported with flip flops by the pool.
This shot makes we want to take a stroll roll in the park on a cruiser with a basket filled with peonies while wearing cuffed boyfriend jeans and a leather backpack. Mulberry has captured the essence of summer fun – breezy bike rides, flowers in bloom, and a backpacking getaway.
A summer hanging with friends, attending soirees, and weekend getaways are all on my to-do list and rocking a Parisienne style look featuring a stripe tee or dress would be just the look for the season. This Tommy Hilfiger campaign keeps it classic, but chic!
I never tire of Grecian-inspired looks like the Valentino collection featuring draped dresses and gladiator sandals. The look is airy and breezy and the color palette soft and neutral.
