[tps_header]GLOBAL — Since the The Amazing Spider-Man hit the big screen in 2012 starring Andrew Garfield and his real-life girlfriend Emma Stone, I’ve eagerly anticipated part two in the superhero saga even though it had me quite baffled, wondering where is Peter Parker’s true love Mary Jane and how does Gwen Stacy factor into the story line. But those are quandaries of a sleuth who has seen the Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst Spider-Man trilogy and not read the actual comic book, from which the film is adapted. But after screening The Amazing Spider-Man 2, I immediately began pondering everything I liked about the film and knew I had to share my top five reasons you should put it on your weekend watch list.[/tps_header]
The special effects in this version of Spider-Man was chock full of CGI goodness with death-defying stunt scenes and holographic imagery that made the superhero and his nemeses pop off the screen.
