ard Candy’s founder Dineh Mohajer is trying her hand at a new nail polish line called Smith & Cult and it’s on my radar. Under Mohajer, Hard Candy became the “it” polish in the 90s. She may have sold one nail company, but that didn’t stop her form launching another, and admittedly I’m giddy about the new brand. I haven’t had the opportunity to try it yet, but I’ve fallen in love with the packaging and if this new product is anything like her previous line, it’s sure not to disappoint. Smith & Cult isn’t only chic looking, but has a cool backstory too. It’s inspired by diary entries of an imagined heroine – how could a chic agent not love that concept! Mohajer is all about color, which was a huge attention grabber for Hard Candy. Smith & Cult isn’t shy in the hue department either with colors and monikers such as a bubblegum pink called Plastic Beach and a jet black with flecks of silver glitter called Dirty Baby (both below). I’d love to try a nail design with this duo. Perhaps a halo effect!
