Get Carrie’s Soho Look
Think Sarah Jessica Parker, aka Carrie Bradshaw, hanging out at the happening Soho Grand.
Using 6 MYCURLs:
1. Place a side part in your hair and part from hairline to crown. section off the back of hair from crown to behind both ears to give 3 even sections.
2. Starting at the back, split the section in 2 vertically. Spray KMS Curl Up onto one of these sections and roll hair around a vertical MYCURL, directing the hair away from your face. Secure the first strap then continue rolling the MYCURL to just above the level of your cheekbone before securing the 2nd strap. Repeat with the other back section of hair. On the left side, divide the hair into 2 vertical sections and repeat the steps above, directing hair away from the face and securing the 2nd strap below the cheekbone area. Repeat on the right side.
3. Clamp your flat iron [Cloud Nine] over each MYCURL for 10 seconds then allow hair to cool for 15 minutes. While hair is cooling, use a tail comb to lift the crown area up and spray with hairspray to create more volume while setting. place a scarf around the widest area of the head to further compress the shape while cooling.
Result: After hair has cooled, remove all MYCURLs and run your fingers through your hair. Apply a gloss spray to the ends. For a flawless finish, spray L’Oreal Professionnel Elnet onto a make-up brush and glide down through
your hair, following the direction of the curls. If you like a more tousled look, spray from the mid- lengths down with Bumble & Bumble Sea Salt Spray and blowdry with a diffuser.
Get Charlotte’s Uptown Look
Think Charlotte browsing park avenue. This style exudes expensive hair! Very chic, very sexy.
Using 4 MYCURLs:
1. Part your hair in the middle, continuing down the back of your head. Split each of these sections in two by tracing a line from the crown of your head to behind your ear. This will create 4 even sections.
2. Starting on the left side, backcomb the roots about 2 cm from the roots and spray KMS Bounce Back onto the section of hair. Roll around a MYCURL towards your face, secure the first strap and continue rolling the MYCURL to just below your check bone before securing the 2nd strap. Clamp your flat iron directly over the MYCURL for 10 seconds.
3. Repeat Step 2 on the opposite side and backcomb the roots about 2 cm from the roots and rolling away from your face, and the back 2 sections. Allow hair to cool for 15 minutes.
Result: After hair has cooled, remove all MYCURLs and brush lightly throughout your hair’s top layer. Apply a gloss spray to the ends and secure into place with L’Oreal Professionnel Elnet hairspray and massage hands lightly through the top area to loosen up style.
Get Miranda’s Downtown Look
Think power hair from the financial district of NY, this look with push you ahead of the pack.
Using 2 MYCURLs:
1. Tie your hair into a low ponytail above the back hairline. Divide the ponytail into 2 sections. Spray PPS Curl Spray onto one section of hair and roll down over a MYCURL. Secure the first strap, continue rolling the MYCURL in, securing the 2nd strap at the root area. Clamp your flat iron over the MYCURL for 10 seconds.
2. Repeat Step 2 with the remaining section, this time rolling hair in an upward direction.
3. Allow hair to cool down for 15 minutes. While hair is cooling, spray hairspray onto a make-up brush and glide down over the top area to remove any frizz. Use your fingers to compress the area at the front of your face, from your eyebrows up.
Result: After hair has cooled, remove the MYCURLs and ponytail and brush lightly throughout your hair, apply a spray to the ends and secure into place using L’Oreal Professionnel Elnet hairspray.
Get Samantha’s 80s Look
Not for the faint hearted, this is curls to the max for the brave and adventurous! This is the modern spiral curl.
Using 15 MYCURLs:
1. Section the hair in the middle from front hairline to nape and section horizontally across the occipital bone area (lower back of your head) to just behind the ear on both sides. Generously Spray KMS Curl Up and wind all sections of hair no wider than a 10-cent peace and roll hair around a vertical MYCURL, directing the hair towards the face. Secure the first strap then continue rolling the MYCURL to the roots and securing the 2nd strap. Repeat with the other back section of hair.
2. Take the next section from the crown to the corners of both eyebrows and generously spray with KMS Curl Up. Wind and roll hair around a vertical MYCURL, directing the hair towards the face. Secure the first strap then continue rolling the MYCURL to the roots and securing the 2nd strap. Repeat throughout this section of hair.
3. The top layer is parted in the middle. Starting at the front and working back, generously spray with KMS Curl Up and wind and roll hair around a vertical MYCURL, directing the hair towards the face. Secure the first strap then continue rolling the MYCURL to 3cm away from the roots and securing the 2nd strap. Repeat throughout this section of hair on both sides.
4. Clamp your flat iron over each MYCURL for 10 seconds then allow hair to cool for 30 minutes.
Result: After hair has cooled, remove all MYCURLs and run your fingers through your hair starting from the bottom up. Apply a gloss spray to the ends and spray L’Oreal Professionnel Elnet onto a make-up brush and glide around the face following the direction of the curls to clean up any loose hairs.
TOP TIPS
What to do after you take MYCURLs out?
The best trick is to use 2 sectioning clips and place tissue paper under each so you don’t mark the hair. this is a must if you would like your hair to behave and stay looking beautiful all night long! Leave in for 20 – 30 minutes and spray with hairspray as soon as you remove the clips, then enjoy your style!
