For all of you Ebay obsessed shoppers, I have news for you!
According to wwd.com, a Paris court has ruled in favor of the LVMH Group (Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton) and has banned (and fined) French Ebay from selling any of their beauty bijoux on it’s Web site including fragrances and cosmetics such as Christian Dior, Guerlain, Benefit, Givenchy, and Fresh.
The online purveyor of new and used goods initially appealed the decision but lost. So what implications does this have for American Ebay? Only time will tell.
