At the beginning of the year I made it my mission to discover the ultimate perfume for spring and summer. I wanted something light, refreshing, and fruity with a hint of floral. I didn’t have any success, until I embarked on a top secret meet up at Sephora to check out fragrances on my radar. I’ve been dying to try Viktor & Rolf fragrances. I just adore the bottle shaped like a grenade—something this sartorial sleuth definitely needs in her beauty arsenal!

Admittedly, the initial draw was the design of the bottle. But when I smelled the new limited edition Flowerbomb La Vie En Rose Eau de Toilette, it had me with the first whiff of its floral and fruity aroma. I spritzed a sampling on my wrist and walked around the store to shop, waiting for the scent to settle. After a mere 5 minutes, I knew I had to have the fragrance. I investigated further to learn the ingredients that had me so hypnotized.
