A covert agent recently shared intel on the opening of a fourth Maison Kitsuné boutique at 18 boulevard des Filles du Calvaire, in Paris’ 11th arrondissement. If you are familiar with this brand, you know this is exciting news for the City of Lights.
The luxury label, which was originally launched as a record label before founders Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki expanded the brand to include ready-to-wear, carries a collection of classic and sporty fashions for men and women including outerwear, denim, and polos baring their signature fox logo, which is the translation of the Japanese word Kitsuné. The collection – in a muted palette ranging from pink to black – hangs causally throughout the store with coordinating footwear placed beneath the clothing display.
Designed like a villa with a California aesthetic, the Paris boutique is light, airy, and filled with custom marble in the entrance of the boutique, attached to a more minimalist Café Kitsuné.
To celebrate the opening of the space, Maison Kitsuné has created the Marmoreal Maison Kitsuné capsule collection. Inspired by the marble design in the boutique, the collection includes a sweatshirt, t-shirt, tote bag, scarf and iPhone case. The collection is now available exclusively in the Maison Kitsuné Filles du Calvaire boutique and online at shop.kitsune.fr.
If you are looking to shop the chic boutique, they have four other locations in Paris, as well as one in Tokyo and two in New York City.
