London – A new movie about Marilyn Monroe will be released in November called My Week with Marilyn. The British drama starring Michelle Williams (Shutter Island, Brokeback Mountain), is based on two books authored by Colin Clark a British writer and filmmaker who worked as an assistant director on the 1957 film, “The Prince and the Showgirl,” starring Monroe. While filming Clark worked closely with the iconic actress and spent a week with her in London, which this film explores from his perspective. The film’s trailer premiered at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.
This film is sure to have a bevy of vintage fashions. It’s an indie I’m looking forward to watching!
