GLOBAL — We're only 11 days away from the premiere of the much anticipated "The Carrie Diaries" and the next trend on my Carrie Countdown that's sure to make a revival is the wide elastic belt. This look was majorly popular in the 80s, especially in the style seen on Carrie (above) with a rainbow print belt with double heart clasp. But if hearts aren't your thing, no worries, these belts come with myriad designs from geometric to organic shapes.
For a more updated look with vintage flair, I found this "Can't Leaf It Be" elastic belt at Modcloth. It would be perfectly paired with a metallic tutu or cinched around an oversized cardigan.
