The Red Carpet Starlet and Radiant Beauty Is Featured In An Egyptian-Inspired Fashion Spread
GLOBAL — It looks like Anna Wintour has made a good move with her latest cover for Vogue magazine. The July issue is officially the Lupita Nyong’o Vogue Cover and I am beyond elated. The Oscar-winning actress has been on fire the past few months since being named a Lancôme ambassador, appearing in the Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2014 ad campaign, and scoring the coveted golden statue for best supporting actress in 12 Years A Slave.
The red carpet sensation has been turning heads and winning hearts with her sophisticated style, radiant beauty, and touching acceptance speeches. She’s poised and humble to, as exemplified in her interview with Hamish Bowles for Vogue where she describes her first encounter with the paparazzi, “For a split second I looked behind me to see who they were flashing at — and it was me! That was, I think, the beginning of the end of my anonymity.”
Now she has an Egyptian-inspired fashion spread in the magazine, featuring a shot of her lounging in a rose petal filled tub and another where she stairs intently across a table at a cobra snake as if to say “I dare you to strike.” It’s an issue you don’t want to miss!
