British Actress Sings Six Songs On Soundtrack
GLOBAL — My latest mission was screening upcoming film Begin Again starring Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo, and Adam Levine. In the film, Levine plays a rising musician who gets signed to a major record label and Knightley plays his singer-songwriter girlfriend. She meets has-been producer played by Ruffalo, who wants to record her music. But, you’ll have to wait until July 2nd to get more intel on the movie and its radar rating.
One thing I can reveal now is how much you are going to love the Begin Again soundtrack. Not only will you get to hear new tunes from Maroon 5’s frontman, but from Knightley too, who actually sings two songs more than Levine. The British actress, known for her roles in period films, such as Anna Karenina (2012), can now add songstress to her resume. Hearing her belt out tunes like a seasoned professional was pleasantly surprising and reminded me of another stunning singing debut in a movie from actress Gwenyth Paltrow in the 2000 film Duets co-starring Huey Lewis.
