GLOBAL — Warner Bros. Pictures announced that Ben Affleck has been cast as Batman in the upcoming sequel to "Man of Steel." I know comic book fans are eager for DC Comics' Justice League, similar to Marvel Comics' The Avengers, but I recall it not going so well when Ben donned a red leather suit as Daredevil, which is how he met his wife Jennifer Garner, who played Elektra. But, I digress. I believe Ben is dapper enough to portray Bruce Wayne, but I'm not so sure if he is brooding or dark enough to be his caped-crusader alter ego.
