Two weeks into 2016 and no doubt you might be rethinking your New Year’s resolutions. Whether you’ve vowed to give up your favorite glazed donuts or to save more money in the new year, it can be a daunting task trying to stick with it.
But for one day you can ditch those self promises because today is Ditch New Year’s Resolutions Day. January 17 is reportedly the most common date that people give up on their resolutions. Krispy Kreme anyone?
Here are a few tips for sticking to your resolution:
- Giving up a certain food or confection? Replace your favorite edible with something healthier but just as yummy to you.
- Starting a new workout routine? How about a fun activity like weekly night out on the town dancing with you guy or BFFs.
- Trying to save more money? Challenge yourself to deposit the price of a Starbuck’s coffee each week into your bank account. It may not make you a millionaire, but it’s a start!
