San Francisco – Last night a few Chic Spy Agents and I attended an exclusive screening of FOX’s new series, New Girl starring Zooey Deschanel (500 Days of Summer, Failure to Launch), at Chambers Eat + Drink. The event kicked off with complementary cocktails and hors d’ oeuvres. Later guests could take a pick with the cast (cardboard version) and tweet their location to get a swag bag chock full of goodies including H20 skincare and The Body Shop samples.
After meeting and mingling with other guests it was time to watch the first episode of “New Girl.” I must admit, I enjoyed the comedic show. The premise surrounds Jess, a single young woman who moves in with three bachelors, Schmidt (Max Greenfield), Nick (Jake Johnson), and Coach (Damon Wayans Jr.), after a mishap with her live-in boyfriend. As you can imagine, with three men and a lady living together, mayhem ensues. But you will have to tune into FOX on Thursday, September 20th at 9 p.m. CST, to get all the scoop on this new hot series.
