GLOBAL — In just 10 days "The Carrie Diaries" starring AnnaSophia Robb premieres, bringing one of our favorite fashionistas back to the small screen. On my Carrie Countdown is neon polish. Neon hues were a crave-worthy trend in the 80s, even with nail polish. But, Carrie's retro look is a bit more subdued than the trends of the era so she opts to use her polish to decorate a handbag with Jackson Pollock-like splashes and splatters.
Essie, founded in 1981, has a collection of brilliantly bright polishes. The Poppy Razzi Collection includes Lights, an electric pink neon; Camera, a brilliant coral pink neon; Action, a vibrant light orange neon; and Bazooka, a bright orange neon. These could be as pretty on a DIY bag design as they are on your nails.
