GLOBAL — We're just three days away from "The Carrie Diaries" premiere on CWTV and 80's movies are next on the Carrie Countdown. Nothing could be more inspiring for a three-decade rewind than watching films from that era.
Major movie classics from the 80s include just about anything from director John Hughes' repertoire such as Sixteen Candles (1984), The Breakfast Club (1985), and Pretty in Pink (1986).
Can't you just picture Carrie and her BFFs ecstatic to watch Molly Ringwald, Judd Nelson and the other brat packers on the big screen?

Home Alone was very good! John Hughes was great at capturing humor and angst in a single film. That’s what I love about his 80s films.
I love John Hughes. My favorite is Home Alone. Not 80s though. lol
